in the exploitation of these resources but the library is organised so that visitors can use it

the library is indirect for the best possible document preservation. Collection of 20 000 old books
including a special collection of over 16 000 local items. Numerous periodicals and reference books
for contemporary needs. Copies of books and journal articles not available locally can be obtained
from other sources in France and even other countries. Catalogues : printed, card index, in course
of computerisation. Frequent exhibitions.
