The Jean Macé multisports club in Bourges has been in existence since 1967. A women's basket-ball team was formed in 1973 but this section left the Club in 1994 to become CJM BOURGES BASKET.
The society BOURGES BASKET S.A. was created in june 2003.
The Club numbers 350 members and 25 teams.
The colours of the Club are black and orange, "tango", meaning orange coloured in French, to be precise. Hence the name the Club is known by.
The Club's stadium is at the Bourges Sports Palace, the facilities of which have improved with the increasing success of the women's team.
