Bourges, a "City of Art and History" is a beautiful medieval town.

In its center stands the Saint Etienne Cathedral, a World Heritage Monument chosen by UNESCO for its unique architecture. Capital of France during the time of Charles VII, Bourges became a busy commercial center in the 15th century and was graced with the elegant Jacques Cœur palace, a popular visitors' attraction today.
